Eric W. Fiechter is a Partner of Secretan Troyanov, and served as Managing Partner from 1989 to 1993 and from 2003 to 2008. He graduated from the Geneva Law School in 1973 and, after one year of postgraduate research at the University of Basle, from New York University in 1975. He was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 1977, after having practised law for one year in New York. He joined Secretan Troyanov in 1979 and became a Partner in 1987.

 

Eric W. Fiechter practises in the "Banking and Finance" and "Trust and Private Clients" groups of Secretan Troyanov. He advises banks on legal and regulatory issues, and sits on the board of directors of some banks. He also has considerable experience in providing estate planning advice to high-net worth individuals.

Further, Eric W. Fiechter assists clients in dispute resolution efforts, and is an accredited Mediator since 2002 as well as an experienced arbitrator and counsel in arbitration proceeding (ICC and Swiss Rules).

 

Eric W. Fiechter is an elected Deputy Judge at the Geneva Court of Appeals since 1997.

 

He is fluent in French, German (+ Swiss-German) and English, with a working knowledge of Italian and Spanish.
